Our offers are divided into different types of travel. Everyone should make their choice based on their personal preferences. There are no objective reasons that speak for or against one of the different types of travel.
Our individual rental car tours with daily departure options are a popular type of trip that can be adapted to your wishes in advance. As a self-driver, you can explore the country on your own and plan your day according to your preferences. Of course, you will also receive tips on places of interest along your booked route, a road atlas and a travel guide with your travel documents. Our 24-hour local hotline is available to you during your trip.
You don't want to drive yourself, but a small group tour doesn't have the right start date for you and a privately guided tour is too expensive? Then our English-speaking chauffeur-driven tours are just the right alternative. Your private chauffeur will take you from place to place, where you will then take part in guided daily activities. However, you forgo the all-round support of a continuous tour guide. All chauffeur-driven tours can start daily and can be adapted to your wishes in advance.
On our German-speaking small group tours, you will be traveling together with a maximum of eight group participants, led throughout by an experienced tour guide. You travel exclusively with other SA Travel customers. The small groups start on fixed dates. The itineraries are predetermined and can only be individualized through pre- or post-tours (features only apply to Star Tours conducted in South Africa).
Our exclusive privately guided tours are aimed at fixed group constellations (couples, families, friends) who appreciate the all-round support of their own German-speaking tour guide and do not want to travel with other foreign participants. The tour price also varies depending on the size of your private group: the more people take part, the cheaper the trip is for each individual. All privately guided tours can start daily and can be adapted to your wishes at any point beforehand.
Our English-speaking land and fly-in safaris with daily departures are the ideal complement to an existing trip and can also be combined into a stand-alone trip. Individual transfers take you to your accommodation where you can take part in guided activities. Flights make it easy to cover longer distances. The flight and land safaris can also be adapted to your wishes in advance; there is no continuous tour guide.
