Day 1: Windhoek
Welcome to the capital Windhoek. Your German-speaking tour guide will greet you at the international airport. The city is situated in the Windhoek Basin, the approximate geographical center of the country, bordered by the Eros Mountains in the east, the Auas Mountains in the south and the Khomas Highlands in the west. The name Windhoek is Afrikaans and is derived from "windy corner". If time permits, you will go on a city tour during which you will visit the most important sights such as Christ Church, the Equestrian Monument, the Ink Palace and the Old Fortress. The rest of the day is at your leisure. Take a stroll through Windhoek or visit one of the museums before having dinner with your guide in a restaurant.
Maison Ambre Guesthouse is situated on the eastern slopes of Luxury Hill and is only 2 km from Windhoek's city center. The guesthouse offers a relaxing stay in the middle of a small green garden, relax on the terrace and by the pool. The 6 rooms are equipped with a bathroom/WC including hairdryer, air conditioning and fan. Further amenities include a safe, heating and a fridge. A radio or TV are also available for your entertainment. The small guesthouse has a pool, a bar and a lounge.

Day 2 to Day 4: Sesriem
Day 2: Today you drive via Mariental and Maltahöhe towards Sesriem. The Namib is the oldest desert in the world. It is around 20 million years old and at first glance appears very hostile to life. This is probably why Namib means "empty place" or "place where there is nothing". Nevertheless, there are some animals and plants that can survive here under extreme conditions, such as the oryx antelope or the desert plant Welwitschia Mirabilis. Enjoy the endless expanse of this natural landscape, relax by the pool on arrival, go on a hike or take part in an atmospheric sundowner drive (at an extra charge, English-speaking, with additional people).
Day 3: An early start in the morning to the highest dunes in the world. Sossusvlei is a clay depression surrounded by dunes. It is only filled with water in years when the Tsauch River, which flows into it, receives enough rain in its catchment area. As far as the eye can see, dunes stretch up to over 300 meters high with sharp contours, smooth sandy surfaces and majestic "peaks" in the middle of a shimmering pearl band of salt pans. You will also visit the Dead Vlei. Characteristic are the many dead acacia trees that dried up when the Tsauchab, an ephemeral dry river, changed its course. The trees rot very slowly. Some of these trees are over 500 years old. Before you leave the park, take a detour to the Sesriem Canyon.
The Elegant Desert Eco Camp is situated about an hour's drive from Sesriem and the entrance gate of the Namib-Naukluft Park. Each tent has a 3 meter wide and 11 meter long balcony on which you can comfortably watch the wonderful starry sky at night by simply pushing your bed onto the balcony. Meals are taken in the Elegant Desert Lodge, as the camp does not have its own main building. You have the opportunity to explore the nature around the camp on hikes or panoramic drives (for a fee). You can also end your day relaxing by the pool. The 10 tents have their own bathroom/WC with indoor and outdoor showers, a private terrace, a minibar and a coffee/tea maker.

Day 4: Usakos
Today you can expect a longer day's stage through the diverse landscape of the region. You will travel through the northern part of the Namib Naukluft Park to your next stop, which lies on the north-eastern edge of the Erongo Mountains, with its fascinating rock formations, caves and rock paintings that invite you to hike and explore. Countless animal and bird species also await you. The rock formations are particularly beautiful at sunrise and sunset, when the sun bathes everything in glowing colors. On this afternoon, you have the opportunity to go on various hikes for a fee (English-speaking, with additional people).
Ai-Aiba The Rock Painting Lodge is situated about 45 kilometers west of Omaruru at the foot of a granite hill in the Erongo Mountains. The thatched bungalows of Ai-AiBa The Rock Painting Lodge and the open, spacious restaurant offer a fantastic view over the plains and the mountains on the horizon. Close to the lodge, numerous prehistoric rock paintings cast a spell over the mysterious Africa. Visits to the rock art on the neighboring farms round off your experience of primeval African culture (for a fee). Guided hikes are also offered for a fee. If you wish, you can also go on your own walks and hikes. The 30 rooms are equipped with a bathroom/WC, air conditioning, a safe and a tea/coffee maker. The lodge has a restaurant, a bar and a pool.

Day 5 to Day 7: Etosha Anderson Gate
Day 5: After an early hike on your own or a leisurely breakfast, we continue north. The drive goes via Outjo to the vicinity of Etosha National Park. On arrival you have some free time. Relax by the pool before you go on a farm tour of the cattle and sheep farm in the afternoon, passing through the Vreugde bushveld with its characteristic mopane trees, where you may encounter native game such as warthogs, steenbok and kudu and enjoy the wide variety of bird and plant species.
Day 6: Today you will go on a day trip to Etosha National Park with your guide. This is unique within Africa. The main feature of the park is the salt pan, which can even be seen from space. Despite this, there is an abundant wildlife population that congregates at waterholes, so animal sightings are almost guaranteed. In addition, Etosha National Park is one of the most accessible reserves in Namibia and Southern Africa. You can make breathtaking animal observations from the vehicle. Return to your accommodation in the evening.
On the small and family-friendly guest farm, you will experience authentic farm life, sociable family connection and delicious meals from the regional cuisine, about 30 minutes from Etosha National Park. Relax in the large garden or by the pool and enjoy cozy evenings by the barbecue and fire pit. The farm combines rustic charm with first-class comfort, which is also reflected in the 7 inviting rooms. All comfortable rooms are equipped with shower/WC and terrace. Let yourself be pampered by the personal and warm-hearted service of the owners.

Day 7: Etosha Lindequist Gate
You cross the Etosha National Park from south to east. You have the opportunity to make exciting animal observations at the waterholes. Due to the great diversity of the landscape, many different animal species can be found here. Etosha National Park is home to four of the Big 5: elephants and lions are common, while the hard-to-see leopard is found in the more densely vegetated areas. One of the main reasons to visit Etosha National Park is the healthy population of black rhino. In the afternoon you arrive at the lodge at the eastern entrance to the park.
Mushara Bush Camp is situated only 8 kilometers from the eastern entrance gate of Etosha National Park. The thatched main building of Mushara Bush Camp blends in visually with the surrounding bushveld and offers a particularly natural bush atmosphere. It is completely open to the front and offers space for the reception area with adjoining small souvenir store, as well as a cozy bar with lounge area and the restaurant. There is also a large swimming pool for all guests to cool off in. At the evening campfire, you can share your experiences in a cozy atmosphere. The lodge has a total of 16 tented chalets. The specially constructed chalets are made from natural materials such as local limestone, canvas and wood. Each tent has a large private veranda. Generous windows from the floor to the roof not only give the tents an optimal feeling of space, but also ensure good ventilation. The brushed cement floors and limestone walls of the en-suite bathrooms keep the tents naturally cool. There is also a tea and coffee station, a safe, mosquito nets over the beds, electricity for charging batteries and a fan.

Day 8: Rundu
On this day, you will leave Etosha National Park and continue north to Rundu. The town is situated 1,095 meters above sea level on a scenic hill on the south bank of the Okavango River in the flat northern Kalahari basin. The Okavango River serves as the border with the Republic of Angola to the north and is a lifeline for the Kavango people, who live from fishing and farming. There is a border crossing across the river and a ferry connection to the town of Calai on the Angolan side. In the afternoon, you will take part in a boat tour (English-speaking, with additional people).
You spend the night at the idyllic Hakusembe River Lodge west of Rundu. The lodge is located directly on the Okavango River, with Angola on the opposite side of the river. The chalets are spread out in the lodge's fairytale garden and are sheltered by large acacia trees. With a view of the river, you can find peace and quiet here in harmony with nature. The location on the river opens up numerous opportunities for activities. You can take part in boat trips to get to know the local wildlife better. Fishing tours and tiger fishing trips are another option. In the evening, you can round off the day with a Sunset Champagne Cruise. Culturally aware guests are offered excursions to a nearby village.
The 20 chalets have a bathroom/WC, air conditioning, heating, safe, fridge and a tea and coffee station. The beds are fitted with mosquito nets. From your private veranda you have a great view of the greenery. The lodge offers a restaurant, bar, pool, garden, a terrace with a view and WLAN.

Day 9: Divundu
After breakfast, you leave Rundu and drive east into the Caprivi Strip to Shametu River Lodge. It stretches as far as the Victoria Falls in the east and the Chobe National Park in Botswana to the south. Before you reach the beautiful lodge in the afternoon, you will take a first drive with your guide into the Mahango National Park. After arriving at the lodge, you can relax by the pool or take part in a boat tour (English-speaking, with additional persons).
Enjoy the relaxed and personal atmosphere of the owner-managed Shametu River Lodge. The lodge is situated on the banks of the Okavango River with a great view of the Popa Falls. The individual accommodations are set amongst lush trees. The lodge is an ideal starting point for boat trips or game drives, which are offered by the lodge for a fee (English-speaking and with other participants). There are 20 standard chalets and luxury tents, all of which have their own bathroom/WC. The beds are equipped with mosquito nets and there is a coffee and tea maker in the room. The lodge has a restaurant, a bar, a pool and a garden with a sun deck overlooking the river and the Popa Falls.

Day 10 to Day 12: Mahangu National Park
Day 10: This morning you will go on a game drive with your guide in Mahangu National Park. At around 24,000 hectares, Mahangu National Park is one of the smallest parks in Namibia. The park is home to a large variety of species, including the "Big 5", as well as riverine fauna and over 400 different bird species. You then travel through the Caprivi Strip, along the most important waterways in southern Africa - the Okavango, Kwando and Zambezi, which all originate in Angola. In the afternoon you arrive at Nkasa Lupala Tented Lodge.
Day 11: The combination of a game drive and a boat tour is an unforgettable highlight that you must not miss. The tour starts with an approximately one to two-hour drive in an open off-road vehicle through the Nkasa Rupara National Park (Mamili). Your professional ranger will bring you very close to the animals, a very special safari experience. The park is home to elephants, buffalo, hippos, lions, leopards, antelopes and exceptional birdlife.
After an exciting drive, you transfer to the boat and experience an exclusive trip across the Linyanti River. The area is one of the most pristine and tranquil in Namibia, so with a bit of luck you can look forward to great game viewing. You will be provided with snacks and drinks during the trip. Back on solid ground, you return to the lodge.
The tour lasts around 5 hours. The tour language is English and takes place with other participants.
Situated on the banks of the Kwando River, Camp Kwando invites you to explore the hidden treasures of an untamed land. Feel the magic of the African bush as you share sunsets from the beautiful deck. The camp's spacious dining room, with an open view to the river side, offers you a wonderful view during lunch or dinner and invites you to observe wildlife. Between activities you can use the swimming pool and relax in the shaded area on comfortable loungers and "bush beds".
Camp Kwando consists of 22 thatched huts and bungalows. The island part of the camp houses 13 thatched tents on the banks of the river, each with two beds equipped with a mosquito net. The tent stands on a raised platform with a deck overlooking the river. The thatched roofs guarantee good heat regulation, i.e. not too hot in summer and not too cold in winter. Each tent has its own bathroom with shower, toilet and washbasin with hot and cold water. Electricity is provided by solar energy. There are also 6 larger chalets on stilts on higher ground made of wood and canvas, with thatched roofs. Conveniently placed in the middle of the trees, they offer incredible views of the Botswana plains. Each chalet on stilts has a large, stylishly furnished bedroom, a large en-suite bathroom and an inviting deck.
You have the opportunity to take part in various activities, such as a boat trip, fishing, bird watching tour or a game drive in the nearby Mamili National Park for a fee (English-speaking and with other participants).

Day 12 to Day 14: Kasane
Day 12: Today we continue across the border into Botswana to Chobe National Park. This is located in the far north-east of Botswana in the border area with Zambia, Zimbabwe and Namibia. Chobe was the country's first national park to be established after independence. Here you say goodbye to your tour guide. In the evening, your first boat tour (English-speaking, with additional persons) takes place on the Chobe River. Chobe National Park is home to huge herds of elephants and an area full of scenic contrasts. Boat trips on the Chobe River are a must here!
Day 13: You will also spend today in Kasane. Very early in the morning, you will set off on a game drive in an open off-road vehicle (English-speaking, with additional persons) into Chobe National Park. This park is home to around 120,000 elephants as well as giraffes, lions, sable and roan antelopes, hippos, crocodiles, cheetahs, leopards and wild dogs. Afterwards, you will have the opportunity to relax by the pool before enjoying a sunset boat tour on the Chobe River in the evening (English-speaking, with additional persons). With a bit of luck, you may be able to watch elephants swimming here.
River View Lodge is located outside Kasane in Kazungula and offers a beautiful view of the Chobe River. The lodge has a tranquil garden situated directly on the river. The 10 tasteful rooms and chalets are individually designed and have a spacious bathroom and a private veranda. The accommodation is air-conditioned and equipped with a ceiling fan, minibar and tea and coffee making facilities. There is a dining area, a bar for drinks and a pool for cooling off on hot days.

Day 14 to Day 15: Victoria Falls
Day 14: Today you will take a transfer to the Kazungula border crossing. This is where you leave Botswana and enter Zimbabwe. Please remember to have the dollar amount for the visa ready. Now it is not far to the tourist town of Victoria Falls, home of the famous and mighty Victoria Falls! The mighty Zambezi River plunges over 100 meters into a gorge that is only 50 meters wide. The entrance to the falls is not far from your hotel. There is a beautiful walkway to get there, but always keep your eyes open, as elephants often roam through this area. At the famous Victoria Falls, you will learn a lot about the formation and discovery of the falls on a guided tour (English-speaking, conducted with other people). Viewpoints always offer spectacular new vistas.
Day 15: The morning is at your leisure. The more adventurous can book a helicopter tour (English-speaking, with additional people) directly on site for a fee and get a bird's eye view of the true size of the waterfalls. Enjoy the view and this unique experience. Alternatively, you can spend the morning relaxing by the pool or shopping for souvenirs at the market in Victoria Falls. Then it's time to say goodbye! You will be picked up from your hotel and taken to Victoria Falls Airport in time for your return flight.
PheZulu Guest Lodge is a small lodge with only 21 rooms. It is situated in a quiet suburb of Victoria Falls in the middle of a lush garden, which also has sun loungers by the pool, ideal for the hot Zambezi summer days! The colorful bar is a popular meeting place for guests and visitors alike. Phezulu's modern decor and design is fresh, bright and incredibly inviting, giving you that 'home away from home' atmosphere.
Each room is well equipped with air conditioning, safes, mosquito nets, tea and coffee facilities and an en-suite bathroom with a separate bath and shower.
