ABOUT THIS TRIP
South Africa offers over 3000 km of coastline, some of the most beautiful in the world. Nature, animal and beach lovers will get to know the different climate zones of the Indian and Atlantic Oceans on this trip: from the subtropical Elephant Coast in the north to the green and pristine Wild Coast and the almost northern European-style south coast. Each section has its own unique character. Of course, you will not miss the Big Five and all other African wildlife.
We are happy to change this tour itinerary or the rental car category according to your individual wishes. Please contact us for your personal offer. This tour can be started all year round, but we recommend focusing on the north from May to August. You should allow about three weeks for this route. A four-wheel drive vehicle is not necessary for this route, but a vehicle with a higher wheelbase is definitely helpful.
Please note the somewhat more adventurous character of this trip along the Wild Coast, which is not so well developed for tourism. In contrast to other regions of South Africa, you will have to accept some compromises in terms of comfort and infrastructure.

KRUGER PARK MORNING DRIVE
OPTIONALLY BOOKABLE FROM 170 € PER PERSON

You will take part in a morning game drive in an open off-road vehicle in the national Kruger Park. You will prefer to stay in the southern part of the park, as this is where the animal population is densest. Your professional ranger will bring you very close to the animals, a first-class safari experience. The park is home to more than 150 different mammals including the so-called "Big Five", i.e. lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and buffalo. Over 500 different bird species as well as many reptiles and amphibians make the Kruger Park the ultimate safari experience.
You will be picked up from your accommodation early in the morning (please note the exact pickup time in your tour book). You will be dropped off back at your accommodation around 12:30 p.m. The conservation fees for Kruger National Park are included in the price; drinks and meals are not included. DAY 3 TO DAY 4 (APPROX. 280 KM):
ESWATINI

The independent kingdom of Eswatini (formerly Swaziland) is an interesting facet of any trip through northern South Africa. Crossing this original and traditional country is very exciting in terms of landscape and culture. The center is the beautiful Ezulwini Valley with the two culturally interesting towns of Mbabane and Manzini on one side and the Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary and Mantenga Nature Reserve on the other. Please note that the infrastructure and comfort cannot necessarily keep up with that of South Africa, and you will also have to allow for waiting times when crossing the border. You will be rewarded with an exciting and authentic piece of Africa.
The Foresters Arms is located in the beautiful mountains of Eswatini, about 30 km from the capital Mbabane. The typically African and charming hotel with a lot of flair and heart is surrounded by a beautiful garden with cozy places to linger. The 34 comfortable rooms all have a bathroom/WC, a TV, heating, a telephone, a tea/coffee maker and free WLAN. The hotel has a restaurant, a bar, an outdoor terrace, a large garden with pool and a sauna.
