About This Trip
Cape Town Inner Journey is a retreat for people who are at a turning point in their lives or feel they need some distance from their daily routine to see things more clearly again. The combination of coaching, self-reflection, group experiences, and the unique setting of Cape Town creates space for new perspectives, mindful decisions, and concrete next steps. Sometimes you need to step away from everyday life to see your own life more clearly again. Cape Town Inner Journey deliberately creates this space—far from routines, obligations, and expectations. Not just to take a break and then return to the same old rut, but to come back with new clarity, fresh energy, and concrete inspiration for your own life.
About Your Coach, Bianca Willhauck
Bianca Willhauck is a systemic coach, resilience trainer, and communication scientist. With over 15 years of professional experience in international companies, she now helps people pause, gain clarity, and make decisions that truly align with who they are.
From her work in communications, marketing, and leadership roles, she knows how quickly we lose sight of what truly matters to us in our daily lives. That’s why she combines well-established coaching methods with a clear, practical approach—without ready-made answers, but with the right questions.
For Bianca, Cape Town has been far more than just a travel destination for many years. The unique combination of nature, open spaces, and vibrancy creates a space where it’s easier to step back from everyday life, broaden one’s horizons, and develop new perspectives. Because real change doesn’t come from quick answers, but from the courage to pause, take an honest look, and shape one’s own path.

March 14, 2027 Welcome to South Africa
At the Cape Town airport, you’ll be picked up by a private driver (who speaks English) and driven to your accommodations in Camps Bay for the next few days. The group will meet for the first time. After arriving in Cape Town, the journey together begins with an initial assessment. What questions have led you to Cape Town? Where are you currently in your life? What issues deserve your attention right now? Through guided reflection exercises, group discussions, and personal self-assessments, you’ll gain an initial perspective on your own situation. Participants will share what’s on their minds, what they’d like to change, and what expectations they’re bringing to this week. This lays the foundation for the personal journey of the coming days.
March 15, 2027, Clifton Beach
After breakfast, you’ll drive to the beautiful Clifton Beach. Clifton Beach is one of Cape Town’s most exclusive and picturesque stretches of coastline. Nestled between the imposing foothills of the Twelve Apostles and the sparkling Atlantic Ocean, this place captivates visitors with its extraordinary scenery and distinctive charm. The vastness of the Atlantic and the distance from everyday life create the ideal conditions for taking an honest look at your own life. Which areas give you strength? Which ones drain your energy? Which decisions, habits, or relationships support your life, and which ones might be standing in the way of further growth? Through selected reflection exercises, “Walk & Talks,” and personal self-assessments, participants gain a clearer picture of their resources, needs, and stress patterns. At the same time, they discover what truly matters to them and what they’ll pay closer attention to in the future. The day provides clarity on what needs to be strengthened and what needs to be changed.
March 16, 2027, Winelands
The transition to the tranquility of the Winelands opens up new ways of thinking and acting. Today you’ll travel to Constantia to visit the beautiful Steenberg Wine Farm. Nestled in the heart of the historic Constantia Valley, surrounded by rolling vineyards and the impressive mountains of the Cape region, lies Steenberg Wine Farm—one of South Africa’s oldest and most renowned wineries. This special place combines centuries of history with modern luxury and ranks among the most beautiful wine destinations around Cape Town. Many people already know with surprising clarity what they want to change. Often, however, it is internal patterns, habits, or beliefs that make change difficult. Targeted shifts in perspective, coaching insights, and structured reflection help participants question familiar ways of thinking and discover new possibilities. The central question is: What would become possible if I no longer let myself be guided by old patterns or expectations?
March 17, 27: The History of Cape Town
Encountering other ways of life opens up new perspectives on your own life. Today, you’ll head to the “Mother City” and immerse yourself in the daily life and culture of the Masiphumelele township on a guided bike tour. Through interactive encounters, you’ll learn a great deal about the culture and history of South Africa’s Black and mixed-race residents, from the apartheid era to the present day. Throughout the day, you’ll gain numerous insights that encourage you to question familiar assumptions and view your own situation from a different perspective. In a group reflection session, the day’s impressions are discussed and linked to the participants’ personal questions. This process reveals new connections and often brings to light issues that have previously received little attention in everyday life. The day invites you to broaden your own perspective and embrace new ways of seeing the world.
March 18, 2027, Table Mountain
Building on what you’ve learned over the past few days, you’ll now look ahead. You’ll take part in a privately guided morning hike up the famous Table Mountain. The route for the day will be selected based on weather conditions. During your ascent, you’ll be treated to spectacular views at every turn. The hike ends at the famous cable car station, where you’ll enjoy a panoramic view of more than 180° of Cape Town and its Atlantic suburbs. The tour lasts about four hours. Which of your wishes have been neglected so far? What changes would you like to initiate? What should the next chapter of your life look like? Through visions of the future, creative reflection, and coaching prompts, participants develop concrete ideas about how they’d like to shape their lives going forward and which values, goals, and decisions should guide them along the way. By the end of the day, you’ll have a preliminary idea of what the next chapter might look like.
March 19, 2027: Conclusion and Reflection on the Trip
After the intense experiences and insights of the past few days, this day is deliberately focused on integration. Often, the most important insights don’t arise during an exercise, but in the hours and days that follow. Participants take time for reflection, discussion, and considering which thoughts and ideas they’d like to carry with them into their daily lives. In a concluding session, the experiences of the week are brought together. Which thoughts do they want to hold onto? What decisions were made? What concrete steps should be taken upon returning home? Participants develop a personal action plan and articulate their individual commitment for the time after the trip. A letter to their future selves helps them capture the week’s insights and consciously incorporate them into their daily lives. In this way, a week of reflection becomes a conscious new beginning in everyday life.
March 20, 2027: Cape Peninsula and Departure
You’ll set out on a tour of the Cape Peninsula. Your first stop is Muizenberg, where you’ll marvel at the colorful little houses featured on every postcard. The journey continues along False Bay, through Kalk Bay, to Simon’s Town, where you’ll visit the famous penguin colony. Afterward, you’ll drive to the Cape of Good Hope National Park, home to the Cape of Good Hope, and along Chapman’s Peak Drive, one of the most beautiful coastal roads in the world. In the late afternoon, your trip ends at the airport or in Cape Town.
