ABOUT THIS TRIP
Your ultimate safari experience awaits you. In the world-famous Kruger Park and the two best-known adjacent private game reserves, Kapama and Sabi Sand, you embark on a luxurious Big Five discovery tour. Afterwards, relax in the most scenic part of Mpumalanga Province on the famous Panorama Route. You will spend the night in the highest quality accommodation on site.
You don't want to drive yourself, but a small group tour doesn't have the right start date for you and a privately guided tour is too expensive? Then our English-speaking chauffeur-driven tours are just the right alternative. Your private chauffeur will take you from place to place, where you will then take part in guided day activities and excursions. However, you do not have the all-round support of a continuous tour guide. All chauffeur-driven tours can start daily and can be adapted to your wishes in advance. The more people take part in your own chauffeur-driven tour, the lower the price per person.

DAY 1: JOHANNESBURG
ONEWAY FLIGHT TO HOEDSPRUIT

A domestic or regional flight is the fastest and most convenient way to cover longer distances in southern Africa. Thanks to various competitors, there is a dense network of scheduled flights to a total of more than 25 airports. All local airlines fly with modern aircraft that meet the highest safety standards and are of course regularly maintained, just like in Europe.
The flight is operated in Economy Class. Depending on the airline, only one piece of checked baggage weighing 20kg to 23kg and one piece of hand baggage are permitted per person. You will receive details with your travel documents. Additional baggage, seat reservations and other services can be booked at very reasonable prices. We recommend arriving at international airports such as Windhoek, Victoria Falls, Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town at least two hours before departure; at smaller regional airports, 90 minutes is sufficient.
DAY 1 TO DAY 3:
HOEDSPRUIT

Your destination is the almost 13,000-hectare Kapama Private Game Reserve in Kruger Park, which is home to the Big Five as well as many other African wild animals. In contrast to the state-run Kruger Park, only overnight guests have access to the private reserves. The small lodges have a very personal atmosphere. For a short stay, the private reserves are much better suited for impressive game viewing. Specially trained rangers ensure a first-class nature experience.
Southern Camp offers you all the comfort and luxury you would expect from a contemporary five-star lodge deep in the African bush. All 15 suites and villas have a modern bathroom with shower and separate bath, air conditioning, minibar, safe, tea/coffee making facilities and a private terrace. The suites are furnished in African style. The villas are more modern and also offer an outdoor shower and a private plunge pool on the terrace. The Family Villas also have a second bedroom for children. The camp offers a spacious lounge with library and boutique, a spa (for a fee), an outdoor deck with pool and bar as well as a restaurant and a boma (traditional campfire dining area). Nature lovers have the option of sleeping under the open sky. Local drinks and airport transfers from/to Hoedspruit Airport are already included in the overnight price.
For each overnight stay, you will take part in two guided game drives in an open off-road vehicle (English-speaking, participation with other people), which take place in the afternoon before dinner and in the morning before breakfast. The game drives can also be swapped for guided bush walks.

Over 500 different bird species as well as many reptiles and amphibians make the Kruger Park the ultimate wildlife experience.
