South Africa Whale Watching 2026/2027

The South African winter season, from June through November, is particularly well-suited for wildlife viewing. In the north, it is the dry season; the grass is short, and the bushes have few leaves. The animals must seek out waterholes, rivers, and dams to drink. In addition, southern right whales and humpback whales come very close to the sheltered coast to raise their calves. Despite it being winter, you can swim in the warm Indian Ocean in Durban and St. Lucia. The price includes a wide range of wildlife viewing activities on land and at sea.
