Zimbabwe is a beautiful destination with amazingly friendly people - much better than its reputation and well worth a visit. Highlights include the mighty Victoria Falls, the historic Great Zimbabwe Ruins, the verdant Eastern Highlands and the wildlife-rich Hwange National Park.

Comfort and infrastructure are roughly on a par with neighboring Botswana, but a thirst for adventure and a certain open-minded attitude are essential for overland travel.
