For over 20 years, SA Travel has been the travel specialist for customized tours in Southern Africa. We love our job. Thanks to our many personal visits to the region, we’ve been the leading experts on travel to Southern Africa for over 20 years. No online booking engines or mainstream travel agencies—which try to sell you the whole world and whose offers are sometimes put together by artificial intelligence—can match our professional expertise.

We offer quality instead of quantity and tailor-made tours instead of off-the-peg tours. All tour descriptions on our homepage (with the exception of small group tours with fixed start dates) are merely examples and can be adapted to your wishes at any point. The creation of individual offers is of course free of charge.

We place great importance on selecting our local partners. We work with small and medium-sized, mostly owner-operated service providers whose offerings we have personally reviewed on site. We only sell what we have seen with our own eyes and found to be of high quality.

Safe

We are a tour operator based in Germany. You are therefore covered under German travel law, which includes the legally required issue of a travel price insurance certificate when booking a travel service. For your convenience, we also have contact persons in each of our travel countries who are available 24 hours a day in case of emergencies.
