Namibia impresses above all with its unique landscapes and fantastic colors, from the golden shimmering Kalahari Desert to the endless red dunes in Sossusvlei and the evergreen Caprivi Strip. The wildlife is also fascinating.

Namibia is already much more "African" than its southeastern neighbor South Africa in terms of comfort and infrastructure, if only because of the predominantly gravel roads for overland travel.
